Well, amidst all of the deaths surrounding us today my son, Benny Jack, some called him Cowboy, was killed in a one car accident Sunday evening. He was returning from visiting family in Corpus Christi and hit a concrete abutment in a construction area. He was 60 years old. Just old enough to enjoy life and he was really enjoying his grandchildren. He played the last several years in Port Aransas C.C. area. Some in San Antonio area. Benny begin playing the clubs with me when he was about 12 at the time and was a fine drummer but he wanted to pick so I got him a Telecaster.First and foremost, he did know The Lord! He was grounded in The Word.I'm sure he has met his little brother, his own son and his wife, as well as other family members.

Hurting for you here in N.C. my friend. We're not supposed to outlive our kids. It's something I fear, a special kind of grief. You will be on my mind and in my prayers in the coming days.

There just is no way of describing the feeling I get from reading words from my friends. It is just so uplifting. I thank you all for your kindness. Sure would be nice to see each of you. I know most everyone personally and it has been too long since we've seen each other. Those that I know thru the Forum perhaps we will meet someplace along the journey.
Again, Thank You All!
