Brand new S-10 sold

Post by Daniel Newsome »

Brand new s-10 I just finished building. The cabinet is built from hard curly maple wood with a lacquer front apron with inlay. The top and back are black formica. I purchased some parts from Gary Rittenberry 2 years ago. A real beauty!! Emmons set up with E,s on the left. 4 pedals, 5 knee levers. Plays as good as it looks. Comes with new case and leg bag. polished end plates, neck, key head and knee levers. $2800.00 + shipping.

I like the half-and-half lacquer/mica idea.

Why not?!

I got a chance to play the NEWSOME guitar today. It plays wonderful, plus terrific tone. Well built and good looking.

Really..this guitar is priced below what it should sell for.

I have to say that the undercarriage is very much Rittenberry Prestige. The guitar reminds me of a guitar Gary built for me a few years back ... lacquer front apron & mica top & rear. It was a great guitar but I regretfully sold it to get my Ritt SD-10 Prestige.... wish I coulda kept it. It was a C6 Universal ... I hope to get another some day soon. Yours looks really good.

Beautiful guitar Daniel! If I may ask, how many hours did it take to build?

I went out in Nashville last night to hear Mike Borque play this guitar. Really great in every way. Daniel is really on to something here. A true craftsman.
