Don’t Take Her (She’s All I Got) Cover

Post by Matthew Begay »

Hey y’all! I uploaded a steel cover of Tracy Byrd’s Don’t Take Her (She’s All I Got) on my YouTube page as well as my Facebook one. Every time this song comes on, I tend to turn up the radio lol. I really do hope you guys enjoy what I have to offer as far as the videos go.

Thank you for being amazing people and amazing steel players to us young ones!

Terrific Matthew. Great song and fine delivery. You have a nice sound and your SS MSA looks and sounds great. Keep up the good work!

Matt, that was excellent. Good looking MSA too. Keep posting, I subscribed immediately. Maybe you can run down your equipment choice from the video? Thanks.

Jerry! I appreciate the feedback sir! It took me a while to get to where I am now. If it hadn’t had been for Marty and the band, I would’ve quit playing long ago. I really appreciate your feedback and I wanna be one of the young guys that can carry the instrument on.

Larry thanks for subscribing! I appreciate a whole lot brother. I sent you a PM regarding the equipment that I use. I intend on keeping the MSA for as long as possible! I still have a whole lot more to learn!

Matt, keep up the great work. There can't be another instrument that is more fun to master than the pedal steel. I get between 1-2 hours a day behind the beast since the Covid19 shutdowns. I would be crazy without it. Enjoy the ride.

Sounds great, Matt! Do you have the tab written out for it by any chance?
