My Search For Hawiian C6 6 String Scores
I have a young teen student who is interested in learning this style and I am looking for more books/tabs without a lot of success. I've got him started on the "Aloha Oe" from the fretboard roadmaps book but can't find much in my online search. Most of what I see in books are different tunings, I'm not opposed to exploring different tunings myself but this is a beginner that is just starting to get used to C6, and loves Hawiian music. I'm into purchasing books if the content is right.

Andy Volk has some excellent materials out on the non-pedal C6th tuning.

There's also the Jerry Byrd course...although in fairness, it does a lot of different tunings...as much as he did in C6, its only a subset. If you contact Scotty's Music, they sell the course but also individual arrangements/tabs from Jerry Byrd. Word to the wise, his tablature syntax is...unique...
Basil Henriques has some very lovely tabs in C6 or C13...from the archives of their Aloha Dreams magazine. I think they sell back issues a la carte, and they are highly recommended!
Alan Akaka likewise has metric tonnes of great C6 tabs...but they are for his Ke Kula Mele students, so you'd have to ask him...I think in times past he has offered his arrangements (with great Band in a Box backing tracks) to folks who ask for them in exchange for a donation to the HIMELE organization...

Waikīkī, at night when the shadows are falling
I hear the rolling surf calling
Calling and calling to me

Calling and calling to me

Greg Cutshaw has a page of C6 tabs (all sorts). You will probably find some useful stuff here:
