Has anyone tried the Tone Master Twin Reverb:Reverb Mod Firmware v1.135?
If so, what do/did you think of it? |

Yes, I upgraded mine or rather, my wife did it for me with her laptop, took only a few minutes. I haven’t the technical knowledge to elaborate about it except to say, it definitely was worth doing, the upgraded reverb sounds very, very good. |

The title of the document I received is TONE MASTER TWIN REVERB FIRMWARE UPGRADE PROCEDURE.
It lists two upgrades: first one is "ToneMaster_Twin_VintageSpec_1.0.27, the second one is titled ToneMaster_Twin_RvbMod_1.1.35.
Hope that helps. |

Jim, I believe there is a separate upgrade for the deluxe reverb. I really like the tonemaster update. _________________ Carter D-10, Magnatone MOTS, Fender SFTR, Fender TMTR, LTD 400 |

I like it as well. Reverb still sounds great and has a wider range of control. |

I did it.
I’m really liking it. Reverb sounds much better altogether, with less of a decay tail and more linear fine control.
I was really impressed with Fenders support when I struggled with some tech issues with the firmware download. Top notch tech support from fender.
When the amp first came out, I wrongly suspected that USB port would be some kind of upgrade for a fee scenario. Very smart of Fender to offer this free upgrade.
I’m really enjoying this amp. Since these amps are aimed at six stringers, and those guys go through amps like water, they’re popping up used at some really reasonable prices. If you buy used Big box retail, you still get the 45 day test period.
I’m not sure if it’s still the case, but these amps (deluxe and twin ) were flying off the shelves New at the big box stores.
A really reasonable double duty amp. The Baritone guitar, with a hair of vibrato, sounds killer. |

Well, Success today with the reverb upgrade. Once I was able to unzip the compressed file, it went well. I love this amp and now the reverb is good enough that I wouldn't have to take a reverb pedal with me if I play out. I used a Wet reverb at Church a few days ago when they asked me to come and video a few Gospel and a Christmas song to insert in future "virtual" Church services on youtube. The reverb is now much easier to adjust to a good setting. |
