a fine steel player, but great singer as well...a deep rich voice as close to Ray Price as it gets.
Pick up his CD "Alcohol Of Fame" featuring Mike Johnson on steel.
I had a chance to perform with him few years back on a Sunday afternoon.
Can't beat his "real" country sound...way to go W.C. !

I agree on his vocals and real country music. That's a great CD. WC is solid as a singer and fine player.

Just received my CD copy of "Alcohol of Fame" by W.C. Edgar. Listened to it three time's. Boy, it is pure country. Honky Tonk music at it's finest. Great production and great staff musician's. It does not list the pickers or what year it was recorded but it is fine as Frog Hair. Does anybody know? Thank You W.C. J.R. Rose

I presume that's a typo and you mean 2021?
Many play better than I do. Nobody has more fun.
