So, actually, what would help, I believe, is for each person who has lost money with them to now make a polite request for restitution and let us all know whether they have made you whole. Seeing a string of people made whole, one after the other, would go a long way to reestablishing Melissa's credibility and reputation. I hope it works out that way. I really do.

quote,,"We are still working on getting in JF picks and getting all preorders refunded seeing that we no longer do business with PayPal, we are having to issue these by mailing money order refunds."

I just wonder how many are still owed money, and what amounts?? I remember many years ago when MSA had to fold,,and people who had pre-ordered lost money,,Reece had a tough time coming back,,,but he did because MSA was too good of a product to let die,,,and so is Jeffran.

Hey Ken
Yeah nothing !
I had almost forgotten all about this and then received an email
form Jeffran about sales going on and got annoyed. I’m done with
it and we all have bigger problems at this time to deal with. Everyone stay healthy
and see y’all on the other side of this Coronavirus.

Wow, Don! She blames PayPal and then trashes buyers "such as, well, you".

"May God bless you and your $40 refund."...what's that supposed to mean?

This will end her *very* entertaining typos (I say this as another owed $$ for probably about 2 years) but:

She needs to take a typing course or a course on how to copy/paste when writing emails

My wish is that jeffran either sell or hire someone to manage the company before the situation gets worse. I know some things I wont repeat, but Jeffs courses and the material he teaches is priceless.

Just wow. With a customer service approach like that she soon won't have to exercise her intelligence serving any customers :whoa:

I'll go on record here in support of Melissa and her efforts to sell the instructional stuff from Jeff. It never ceases to amaze me how cruel people can be. I wouldn't call her reasons as excuses but hard life events for a woman that as a man I will never understand. All this fuss over a few dollars, come on............

For what its worth, I ordered a course from Melissa yesterday and this morning, I had a tracking number in my email. To me, it was worth the gamble to take a chance on the order because Jeff Newman courses are by far, to me, the best there is.

Just to keep the information going.....

Jeffran had a 2 for 1 deal last week, so I took a chance and ordered 4 Woodshop Workshop songs I'd been wanting.

Ordered on 7/23.....got a tracking number the same day......package arrived yesterday here in Philly, 7/28.

I'm not vouching that all is well, or denying that anyone had serious problems. Just updating you on my experience.

I had the same experience. Since July 1, I have ordered Give me an intro, A and B up from the top, Scale Stuff, 30 intros and most recently Intro to C6. I’ve been buying a course every weekend that she discounts the prices. The last one shows to be out for delivery today. I got all the course pretty quick as well. This time around I am going to hold on to the courses instead of selling them off when I think I am through.

Thanks for the great deal and quick shipping. Leetle problem: I ordered 11 discs and got 9. As per the order sheet you mailed back, I wanted:

#7 I Had a Beautiful Time

and

#33 Workin' Man Blues

and got neither. If you could manage to shoot those my direction, I would be most grateful.

I am writing to see if you received my email regarding order #11145. I had ordered 11 replacement CD's at the time of your half price sale, and received 9.

The two missing are:
#7 I Had a Beautiful Time
#33 Working Man Blues.

I would be very grateful if you could please send me the two I didn't receive.

This is the 5th or 6th Email I've sent since the first week of August, when I received my incomplete order. In that time, you haven't responded once, except to send a tracking number on September 1, which, bizarrely, still shows as "pre-shipping." If you just produce CDs for #7, I Had a Beautiful Time, and #33, Working Man Blues, I promise I will never darken your internet door again.

I can't help but think that Jeff and Fran are up there embarrassed by the way you're doing business under their name.

I bought a bunch of CDs to go along with Woodsheds which had been separated from their sound source. It was a half price deal, and, honestly, I got pretty good return on my investment. I approached the prospect with some trepidation, given the history of issues people have had with Jeffran in recent history.

This is not an earth shattering episode of fraud, but it's a disappointment consistent with others expressed here. My only communication in response to multiple emails has been a USPS tracking number, which shows as not yet received a month after the initial notice.

Jeff and Fran were very professional in their approach. The current management is not.

Typical

Post by Pete McAvity »

Ken, your experience is typical of MANY testimonies documented here about orders not recieved or recieved incomplete, then the buyer being stonewalled by Melissa. I should have the CD for Working Man Blues, and I have absolutely no qualms with pirating and sending a copy to a forum member who I believe has paid the rightful copyright owner and not received the merchandise. As a rule, I don’t copy and share any instructional material still in print, but this is an exception for which I see no ethical lines being crossed if I do so. Will send you a PM.

Melissa Greer is a common thief

Melissa Greer uses God and makes-up excuses but refuses to refund money or send materials paid for. She has never refused to take my money, she has just refused to send what I paid for or make any attempt to.
Melissa Greer is a phony and a liar.
