I’m pretty new to carpentry. With that being said,how are steel guitar bodies joined together ? Dowel pins, biscuits, screws.... ? _________________ D.S. Rigsby |

I believe Sho~Bud used some dowels in their construction methods.
You can see them if you tip the guitar upside down.

Klines used dowels the full length of the apron width,,Ross has the correct way,,,deck is attached at end plates,,,free to float from stress of pedals/pulls |

I don't think Sho-Bud used dowels. I think those are plugs covering screw holes. I think they "screwed and glued". _________________ Bringing steel guitar to the bukid of Negros Oriental! |
