Yes. I've been doing it all my life.
The no-hugging thing hasn't bothered me at all - I never go within six feet of anybody if I can help it.
:)
I'm in the same boat. I've always needed a fair amount of personal space, and when that space is violated, I tend to flinch. Probably came from all the aunts, great aunts etc. at family reunions when I was a kid "'My, ain't he growed!' followed by big hugs and kisses..."

Anyway, I've sort of felt like the world has finally caught up with me in the social (anti social?) distancing thing.

We thought we were Covid free but we've had an outbreak in Auckland.
This resulted in Auckland going to a Level 3 lock down and the rest of New Zealand going to a Level 2 . This means (for us in level 2) that no gathering of 100 people (we should be so lucky) and social distancing (ie. no dancing). This has meant that our next couple of gigs are now cancelled.
The up-side is that the venues are booking us for the next 3-4 months assuming the country can contain the outbreak. We are in a better position to control it that most countries (I hope). We had a brief period of normality (gigs) up until this out-break. This our new normal so we just get used to it! In the meantime, I'm trying to motivate myself to master the C6 neck.

No; I think live music is over for good, in fact most of the stuff listed below is for sale on Craig's.
Just tired of the struggle. Gonna get into another racket for $$, maybe flip cars or Harleys.
A couple D-10s,some vintage guitars & amps, & lotsa junk in the gig bag.

Maybe that’s the case where you are but, I’m turning down work and trying to fit it all in. I’m busy playing all the time.

No live gigs, but I've been jamming with people outside and distanced. I've had some remote studio work too. Most of my musical activities since March have been live streams and online workshops for kids and teens. I miss the shows so badly. But they will come back someday. Maybe then more than 10 people will come to my shows! :)

Hey Paul!!! You are exactly right about keeping the Super Pro's tuned up and ready to go!!! I got bored back in March and started posting songs on Facebook playing along with cover songs. Just something to do. Nothing like playing live, but helps keep the fingers moving. I never really got into playing instrumentals. My main job for almost 40 years was to back the vocalist and compliment the other players as needed. I have done my share of intro, leads and turn arounds.
