It is, for sure, bad stuff. My oldest daughter is a RT at Beaumont Main Hospital in Detroit. Was ground zero back in March. They were working 12 and 16 hours a day. She had 27 vent patients alone. They lost a patient a day. She said it was like pure Hell. On a normal day she would have maybe 3 patients a day on vents. Stay Safe and God Bless....

Paul, I'm glad to hear that you, your parents, and your son are all doing well. I hope all of you continue to feel better and have a speedy recovery. Family is everything, it's great that you and your son were able to be there for your Mom and Dad.

Paul, I was concerned for you and your son but much more for your parents. My Dr. told me that at age 81 I would have a 20 percent change of not surviving it I were to contract the Covid virus. I am so thankful your Mom and Dad are doing well. My wife and I got to visit with them one time thanks to Woody Woodell. Carlene visited your Mom on the couch and the men folks had coffee at the Franklin table. A day we will never forget. Carlene said when we left that she felt like she had known your Mom for years, she was so friendly. I have prayed for the Franklins and this is great news. Have you been told anything about antibodies if you are protected from catching it again? That would be a great bit of news if that were the case.

I am glad to hear the whole family is "turning the corner" on this illness. Thanks for sharing your story, Paul. It's easy to speculate and post opinions on Facebook - quite another thing to be dealing with it personally. I hope all who've read your report grasp how serious this can be, and make an effort to avoid it.
Pedal steel, lap steel, resonator, blues harp - why suck at just one instrument when you can do so on many?

I think Paul's is the 3rd family that I know of personally that has been exposed this directly from home care workers, strangers from one house coming into another,,,the "bumble bee effect". I personally need in home help right now, and it is available at no cost, but I'm afraid to take the chance.
