It's a fact I'm sure, Buddy dose sing mighty good, I heard him at in November 1987 while attending the Pedal Steel Guitar Association's annual steel jam in Armonk, NY.
Buddy sang, "Four-five Time" and accompanying him, were backup singers, Jeff Newman and John DeMelie.
I still have the recording on cassette tape as evidence.
What great pedal steel shows back then, shame it's all gone.

I believe that he was asked if he wanted to be a singer or an instrumentalist. (Might have been by Little Jimmy Dickens.) I'm glad of what he chose. Anyway...
