Paul Franklin Jr - COVID -19
UPDATE from Modern Music Masters Website:
Paul and his son Darrell contracted the Covid-19 virus, probably from contact with Paul's parents. Paul and Darrell are handling it from their homes, are not hospitalized and are in fact rounding the corner of the worst period. Just spoke to Paul this evening.
Paul's parents are hospitalized for dehydration, but doing better today, no ventilators or complications.
Paul sends his love and thanks for all the prayers and well-wishes.

Prayers for all, hope everyone heals quickly! Paul Sr. and Oleda are two of the sweetest folks I ever had the opportunity to know. Prayers!

Music hath the charm to soothe a savage beast, but I'd try a 10mm first.

A friend's sister in law worked in a nursing home in Alabama. She tested positive recently--her bosses begged her to come back to work since she's already infected and at "no greater risk" to come in. She refused.Darrell Criswell wrote:Anyone know if Paul's parents were living in an assisted living facility or something similar? These are really high risk environments for the disease and would explain how they acquired the disease.
Then it went to her lungs--she stayed in her car outside the ER for hours (along with ambulances), and finally got in. They tried to put her in ICU, but there were no beds available in any nearby town. Plus staff had walked out due to lack of PPE. She was sent back home, and her outcome doesn't look good at all.
Yep, the assisted living facilities and nursing homes are hotbeds right now, and at least in some locations there isn't adequate hospital room availability for now anyway when the need arises. Very scary.
Wherever the virus was picked up, I hope that Paul and the rest of his family have a speedy and full recovery!
