The Time Jumpers — Special Guest Robben Ford

Post by Andy Volk »

Paul plays an amazing steel solo but really, everyone rises to the occasion. Cool to hear *Robben in this context.

Robben ( not Robyn) now lives in Nashville , its been said he's been around town here and there, when he is IN town . Larry Carlton as well, both are in the Nashville area now. Supposedly , according to Larry C, because the MUSIC scene is so much wider and diverse.

RF is one of my premier influential players, genius !

Robbens playing on this cut is extremely great , it really defines him as a "total" player ! :D

Thanks Andy, That was great, he really looked like he was enjoying himself.

I've seen Robben a few times and one of the coolest was when he was playing with Miles Davis at the Beacon in NYC!
Regards, Craig

Basically proof that Robben can play pretty much whatever he wants.

Big, big fan.

I have seen Robben dozens of times. I have never seen him smiling that much in a whole show. This is pure musical joy written across his face.

I had tickets bought for mid October and they cancelled and refunded my money. Are they playing again at 3rd and Lindsley? I really want to see them BAD when I come done in October.

Robben and I used to live 1 short black away from each other, but I never had the guts to go over and introduce myself to him.
