George, the vibe I'm getting here is that in your case, any guitar plays 'bout as good as any other and that's fine, don't get me wrong BUT, just like both the motorcycles pictured in this post will get you from point A to point B, which one would you prefer to ride on?

Duncan, I didn't mean it as a put-down, only that you resembled DL in that picture. As far as playing that thing goes, just keep plugging away - someday it will make you smile - (from a former ZB'er) ....

Barry, no offense was ever taken. Fax 'R' fax and funny lookin' be funny lookin'. The bottom line is that I would much rather look at my ZB than me. Anyway, the last gig I played they asked me to bring my steel back. Funny, though, I don't remember them asking me to come back too.
Have a beautiful evening.
By the way Peter, maybe you should contact Johnny Depp. He might want that steel for Edward Scissorhands 2.

Hey, one thing you can say say about that wood frame Possom Lodge bike: hitting a pot hole won't scape off a couple of the rocker arms!

Wait - what am I saying? The whole engine would fall out!
[This message was edited by Duane Reese on 15 May 2006 at 10:20 PM.]

To Chas Smith. The design ethic behind those two cycles you showed just blows me away. Fantastic. True originality. The timber frame one could have an issue with termites down the road, but stunning nonetheless. Thanks for posting the photos.

Hmmm...this is interesting...

Taking care of the instrument is important, but if you've had it for 30+ years, just let it age. Let it get scratched and bumped. Let it have lawn mower handles for pedals and hangers for changer parts. It just adds to the charm of it all. Sort of like a piece of history. You don't need a nice new instrument if you like the one you've got. And you know that you can never have a better sound than that old Fender or Sho-Bud that you bought oh so long ago. Thats just my horribly biased opinion.

(please don't kill me)
