HOW'S THE BEST WAY TO COLOT CODE MY TUNING NUTS. I'M VISUALLY IMPAIRED AND NEED SOME HELP IN LOCATING THE RIGHT NUT FOR TUNING MY PEDALS/KNEES......ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED........CLARK

Rita fabric dye does a great job. Mix up a little with water, bring it to a boil, throw 'em in for a few minutes and you're done. |

As far as color coding, Clark, most guys leave standard pulls white; compensator rod ends black or red; and extra rods needed for splits when not using a split screw green. Choices vary. Just make the 3 types colors you can easily tell apart. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

I worked on a guitar that someone had the A pedal nuts was smooth on the end. B pedal had a single groove like a screw slot, The C pedal had an X cut in the end of its tuner nuts. The rest of the tuning nuts were color coded with magic markers by lever or pedal. Whatever works for you. |

Don't need to color code 'em. Just hit the change, & tune which ever one moves for that string. _________________ A couple D-10s,some vintage guitars & amps, & lotsa junk in the gig bag. |
