Can anyone help me date this S/N of a S-10 Emmons came from factory with 6 pedals no levers.
S/N # is 1109-S. It is a single 10 on a single frame. Split tail

I emailed Emmons direct and had a response in half a day.

I have a single 10 push pull that I bought new in about August 1974....six on the floor and 2 K,L,s...have since added two more K.L.s...its Rosewood finish...serial number 1314.....hope this helps

According to an Emmons # list I'm assembling, 1109-S should be a bolt-on from 1967. Am I correct in the neck/changer configuration?
OOOOPS for EDIT!. Just checked the list again. 1109-S should be a cut-tail, as Earl Foote noted below.

| I have 1108-S and I have been told that it's somewhere between '67 & '69. There was someone on here awhile ago that had a serial number a few dozen higher than mine and he was positive that his was a '67. Mine is a cut tail though. Mine was a 6 pedal no knee lever configuration originaly but I had Bobbe Seymour's group convert it to a 3X4. [This message was edited by Earl Foote on 15 May 2006 at 07:39 AM.] |

Thanks guys...
I was hopeing it was a 67 Push Pull because
I have a 67 D-10 (Rosewood) that looks just like this one.
Both have a decal logo on the front apron.

| I have an S10, SN 1308 S. I bought it with 6 on the floor and 5 knees. From the looks of the hardware the knees must have been added much later. I guess judging from Tony's SN it must have been built around '74 also, eh?. |
