Is anyone able to post a picture for the non sunburst Fender 400 and 1000? My 1000 looks more yellow than it should be and the 400 looks closer to my 67 Tele which is off white with a hint of tan. I searched the internet and found find any clear good quality photos.

I'm getting the guitars refinished and would like them to be close to the original.

Thanks, Dave

As far as I'm aware, the 800 was only available in 'sunburst'

Dave,
The first 400/1000 steels were "off white/ivory",the best of my remembering close, if not the same as the Tele.I had a 59,or 60 model 400.

I had a 60s Fender 1000 that was Teal green. Factory color. Have seen a red one also, and a natural finish.
