On the Push rods for the E-Eb KL, which have about a 20" run from the bellcranks to the changer, is having one "support/guide" bellcrank per rod in the middle of the run enough to eliminate the rods flexing sideways or would two per rod, splitting the 20" into thirds be recommended?
Currently, there are none and the sideways flex is about 1/4"-3/16" in the middle of the rods by the time you hit the stop.

Jim, my guide bell cranks are on the cross-shaft for the 8th pedal. The rods for both the E raises & lowers (LL & LR) run thru the same set of cranks. There's no sideways deflection on any of those rods that I can see, so I imagine one set of cranks ought to do the trick.

Skip, thats how it is on my D-10 too, but the new SD-12 guitar has none. Since it is Ext. E9th, there is no 8th pedal cross shaft to put them on ala "Factory set up".
I'm going to have to add some parts and just wanted to throw this out there in case two sets would be better than a single.
