Gibson Console Grande SOLD

Triple neck. Believed to be early 50's. Finish is cracking and a few dings and chips.Otherwise in good condition.Everything seems to be original. Case is poor condition. $1100.00 plus shipping.

What kind of leg mounts does it have?

The leg is inserted into the socket and is clamped by turning thumbscrew.

Thanks for the picture Lamar... mine has the same mechanism. I’m just not used to seeing them with adjustable legs!

I put grease on the internal cam and it made mine work much better, btw.

how do the pickups sound?

Are these pickups strong? Some of these older ones get weak sometimes only on one side and/or microphonic.

Mine sounds great... I'd heard that the Don Helms version with the earlier oval pickups were more desirable... but mine sounds sweet, with that P90 cream tone.
