My Stay Home Project video - Slack’n’Steel

Post by Hideki Hattori »

My recent “Stay Home” project video. Steel guitar solo or steel guitar backed by slack key guitar.
No professional recordings, just practice sessions all by myself.
I hope you enjoy and be safe yourself.

Ahhh, the soothing power of Hawaiian music! So needed in these times and those are so beautifully done. Thank you so much for sharing your "project", Hideki. Terrific playing on both slack and steel.

Very nice playing. Somewhat reminiscent of the Sons of Hawaii. I am interested in the bar you are using. It seems quite long. Can you give us the dimensions and who made it?

Thank you, David and Joe!
Sure I love sound of the Sons of Hawaii. Feet Rodgers and Gabby are my favorite players. I am fully inspired by Maile Serenaders Vol.1&2 album.
The bar I use is made by Todd Clinesmith. The size is 7/8 X 3-1/4. It is not so long but regular size.
