Last night the Gather Gospel Music show featured Guy Penrode, who's the steel player?

Steel Guitar Player for Guy Penrod
Hey Kenneth, I saw most of that performance too, and I can't say with complete certainty but I am pretty sure it was Eddie Dunlap. I was a little disappointed that I didn't hear any more presence of steel than I did. Good concert though.
I watched that show and also was disappointed that they did not have any of the steel up front. He was just their. I too think it could of been Eddie Dunlap. I will say it was a great production. Huge Stage. I personally would not like that, no connection with your band mates. Just my thoughts, J.R.
Black Performance SD-10, 2002. Peavey LTD 400 with 15" Eminence EPS 15-C, Sho-Bud Seat, Goodrich L-120 Pedal, Sho-Bud Bar, Picks, Cords. Nothing else.

I don't think Bill Gather likes steel guitar.
That could be a rumor though.

1) He doesn't. I have personal experience in that.autry andress wrote:I don't think Bill Gaither likes steel guitar.
That could be a rumor though.
2) However, since he now has a revenue stream from some of his country gospel recordings, he will tolerate it briefly.
