I love two-tone steels - contrast is always nice! Also, I prefer some nice wood inlay to pearl or abalone. So here's my contribution:

I've seen some stunning ZB two-tones that had me drooling on my shoes. And these days both Mark Giles and Williams do some stunning guitars. It's hard to make a basically rectangular box seem pretty. Yet we seem to manage!
Pedal steel, lap steel, resonator, blues harp - why suck at just one instrument when you can do so on many?

It's my first time to post a pic, but maybe this will work. This is my new (2 weeks) baby, Mesquatcha 1. MSA D10 9x9 Legend XL. Mesquite and bird's eye maple. Mark Giles cabinet, and of course,, beautiful MSA craftsmanship elsewhere!

Johnnie, thanks for the compliment on my Sho-Bud Pro-II. I admit to being biased, but it's as pretty a steel as any I've seen. I sold it 18 months ago when I decided to retire in the Philippines, but gained much knowledge rebuilding it, and a 12-string '75 Pro II Custom. I'm down to just one pedal steel these days, an MSA Millennium. Now I have to avoid the urge to collect too many dobros, my lastest passion!

My old Sho~Bud Professional. Built in 1971 by Paul Franklin Snr.
I owned her for 41 years, like losing an old friend.
Sold her a couple of years ago.

This old girl just turned the big "40" and holding up well. Aging like a fine wine tone "Through" the Bone. Best playing guitar I've ever touched.
