Pedal steel track for friend, Stage One-Tonemaster Twin

Post by Joe Davies »

My friend sent me a stereo track and asked me to play pad parts.

You'll hear a click track in some parts.

I'm still a bit of a novice but it was fun challenge.

Playing my Zumsteel Stage one direct through a Fender Tonemaster Twin and a Strymon Flint for reverb and a Carbon Copy Delay.

That is beautiful, Joe! Your tone is wonderful and the steel parts were just right and added a lot to the song. Very nice!

Hi Joe,
Nice job ... I really enjoyed that!
Your tone and playing sounded really good to me, and just what the song needed.

Thanks so much for your comments everybody. I keep wondering if I should upgrade my Stage 1 to a more pro steel.

To echo other comments, nice playing by you and everybody, even the banjo!

I think you're getting d10 envy or left vertical envy or something like that but should keep the Stage 1 as a grab and go steel.
