Travis Toy Tutorials...

Post by Travis Toy »

Hey everybody. Been working on this for a while, and it’s almost ready to launch. I know there is no shortage of options for our journey of learning on the instrument. That being said, I have really been enjoying teaching private lessons the last several years, and I’ve been asked over and over if I was ever gonna do a full blown course at some point. The answer is yes. Coming soon. I hope some of you will give me the opportunity to teach you some things in my own unique way, and present to you my take on the instrument we all love. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy in these crazy times. I’ll update again when the site is launched. Cheers!

Super.

I know that you will do well with this.
You have such a unique approach and it's refreshing, at least to me.

Let me know if I can help you promote through my contact list.

Love ya pal.

I can’t wait to be done shooting this initial collection of content. Haha. It’s quite an undertaking.

Thanks Allan. Those are fun, but very limited compared to this current undertaking. I’m attempting to teach everything I know. Haha. I hope you’ll check it out when it launches. You can go to my site at www.travistoy.com to sign up for an email notification when the new site goes live. Hope to see you on there. Cheers!

Just to update on Travis Toy Tutorials...I currently have 31 video lessons shot and edited. I have about 4 or 5 more to go, and I think I’ll be ready for the initial launch of the site. There’s a lot here already, especially for anyone wanting to work on their technique and some musical concepts. I have a few more to add surrounding pockets, positions, and how I look at the fretboard.

After all of this initial sort of curriculum is in place, I’ll be adding quite a few of my solos that I want to teach. Specific licks, ideas for licks, and any suggestions/requests that start coming in from subscribers. It’s gonna be a lot of fun. There will also be a private FB group for subscribers, where everyone can share their progress, ideas, critiques, etc.

Once I have enough people on-board, I am also gonna start doing some fun little contests where I provide backing tracks, have subscribers submit their best solo, and pick winners for giveaways.

So, lots of fun things in the works, on top of a great time learning and fellowshipping with our fellow steel players.

Remember to go over to https://travistoy.com/travis-toy-tutorials and submit your email to be notified as soon as the site launches. Thanks y’all! Can’t wait to get this running.
