Lloyd seems so relaxed. The story, hearing him talk about Buddy and Jimmy, the demonstration, the artistry - fantastic.
How did you get him talking about "Half A Mind" in the first place? Is there more video you can share?
Super job.
We have been friends over 30 years. When I go to Nashville, I stay with Lloyd. We have these "Quiet Times of Conversation" in his Shangri-La aka his picking room. And, I capture them with his approval. His perfect recall of events is a perfect path for extemporaneous conversation. It is quite surreal to experience.
The only time I have seen him NOT relaxed is when I tell him he sounds flat lol. Also, he got excited when I told him I bought him a tuner at Dallas for his Christmas present to he could stay in tune,.......it was a joke of course...... That was an interesting look and conversation to say the least.
He is a walking history book of events during that Era of musical creation.

Bolt On’s: Red Belly, Brown Belly, 73 Sho~Bud Pro~II, Fender’s/Peavey’s. If it doesn't sound like 1968, then I probably won’t like it.

You have to wrestle him down like a Bear sometimes. But, once subdued, he's a pretty decent fella!
