I got a random cryptic email from a Joe Naylor. I did respond as requested, now nothing. Has anyone else gotten this?

Yes K Maul, it would appear that Joe's e-mail has been hacked. If you answered it, your computer has probably been infected too.

Here is what I received:
Hi there,

I need a favor from you. I'd appreciate it if you could email me back asap.

Thanks

Either I'm right, or there is a sinister conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.

I got the same email that Lee showed, above. I emailed Joe separately & he replied to me that he had been hacked but it had been "fixed"! How that was done is beyond me!

I received that same message, but from somebody with no connection to music at all. Obviously there is more than one virus going around. Based on who it was supposedly from, I knew something was not right and just deleted it.
Many play better than I do. Nobody has more fun.

Keep an eye on your messenger/Facebook, someone I know got hacked and I received a message saying: “You were great on that music video” and a link to open..I knew it was ify because I’ve never been great on anything, turns out it was a hack on another persons messenger, they got it sorted. Don’t open any weird links in messages, that’s an ego stroke to suck you in!

I was hacked. Sorry I did not get right back to you.

I have had 3 or 400 phone calls and emails - bad news I was hacked but it is fixed.

Good news I have got to talk to a lot of folks that I have not talked to in a long time

Every one stay safe - We are SAFE and doing well -
