Mr. Hudson, two questions:
What is the string spacing?
Spec on pots and pickup?
Thanks for all you do, and prayers during

Kits

I've felt a vacuum since the demise of the Dynalap kits. These look like an excellent way to fill that void. Wish I was in the market. Good luck, I hope these are a success.

Stringmaster

Post by Mark Helm »

Can you do a single neck Stringmaster in the shape of the Stringmaster-style single neck Deluxe?

It's a lot more comfortable on the lap (probably why Fender slightly redesigned it).

Thanks! Lovely, lovely work!

Stay safe, Jimmy!

I do not have any plans to do other models. It takes a lot of cash to bring a new model to market.

Stringmaster Kit

Post by Mark Gough »

Hi Jimmie,
The Stringmaster looks like a fun project to work on.
Just a couple of questions.
What is the body thickness ?
What is the Fretboard made out of?
Can the kit be modified for a lefty?
Will the Lollar Stringmaster pickups fit this project?
https://www.lollarguitars.com/lollar-st ... ringmaster

Thanks Jimmie,
All the best.

Hi,
just a question.

Regarding those StringMaster kits
Can a 1,750 + 1,500 be used to form a Franken D 6-8 ??

what would be the standard difference between necks?

thanks a lot

I can plane down the back of one neck .250 and then you could make a double neck with it.
That would give you 1/4 inch lower neck on the near neck.
