Kits
I've felt a vacuum since the demise of the Dynalap kits. These look like an excellent way to fill that void. Wish I was in the market. Good luck, I hope these are a success.

Stringmaster
Can you do a single neck Stringmaster in the shape of the Stringmaster-style single neck Deluxe?
It's a lot more comfortable on the lap (probably why Fender slightly redesigned it).
Thanks! Lovely, lovely work!
Stay safe, Jimmy!

Re: Stringmaster
I do not have any plans to do other models. It takes a lot of cash to bring a new model to market.Mark Helm wrote:Can you do a single neck Stringmaster in the shape of the Stringmaster-style single neck Deluxe?

Stringmaster Kit
Hi Jimmie,
The Stringmaster looks like a fun project to work on.
Just a couple of questions.
What is the body thickness ?
What is the Fretboard made out of?
Can the kit be modified for a lefty?
Will the Lollar Stringmaster pickups fit this project?

Thanks Jimmie,
All the best.

Just one question?
Hi Jimmy,
Just one question;
Do you ever sleep?
For those who don't know he has been at this for years.
Made lots and lot of things and they keep getting better all the time.
Great work and best wishes,
Andy

I can plane down the back of one neck .250 and then you could make a double neck with it.Francisco Castillo wrote:Hi,
just a question.
Regarding those StringMaster kits
Can a 1,750 + 1,500 be used to form a Franken D 6-8 ??
what would be the standard difference between necks?
thanks a lot
That would give you 1/4 inch lower neck on the near neck.
