A Plea To Those Attending The Dallas Show

Post by Danny Letz »

I had to miss the Dallas show for the first time in many years. I will not post why until the show is over. Please, for those of us that are so disappointed in not being there, take and post lots of photos, videos, stories etc. It will be much appreciated.

Baxter I’m still grieving for missing it. I’m a contract pumper in the oil field. I’m the only one that does my job. It takes a couple of weeks of prep for me to go to Dallas & it’s my only get a way. Haven’t missed it in years. We had stuff packed Thursday & only lacked loading the car when the hype finally got me. I had 2 grandkids & a wife with some medical problems to consider. We & the show had nearly all the factors they tell you to avoid. I had to cancel. I didn’t say this on the forum because I didn’t want to hurt the show. Next year we’ll catch up brother.

Way to go Danny, I did the same thing and I am sill grieving. But I do think without a doubt that we both made good decisions. J.R.

Thanks Mr. Rose, I think it was the best choice I’ll be back next year wearing the rugs out trying to find where the best action is & scoping out all the goodies. We’ll see ya there.

I had decided to not go to Dallas before the hype.

I have been so far behind on orders I had no stock. I have made the decision to not take orders at this point.

steelseat.com is for sale and I am still building some seats and listing them on my web site as for sale ready to go.

You might say I am giving myself a birthday present of re-retiring.

steelseats was bought as a retirement hobby - the hobby got out of hand since I have been building 300 per year. That was the first Dallas show I missed in almost 20 years as well.

I did not go to the Phoenix show in January either.

I currently have 2 seats in stock and have several inquiries for potential orders.

I too watched facebook for lots and lots of photos.

Danny we didn't go because my wife has immunity issues and I think more of her than the show.
