Goto 'em, thanks all, close 'er up

Now that he's gone (RIP Jerry), I'm not sure what to do about replacing my favorite single coil supplier. Until I figure that out, or start winding them myself, I'd like to nab some of the Wallace True Tones that are out there sitting in drawers and not being used.

Let me know what you've got and the price you're asking. They do need to be in good condition, so a picture or two would be very helpful.

One last huge thank you to Jerry for all the great work he's done for our community. He will be missed big time!

Thanks so much for the replies thus far.....with a little luck Jerry's excellent pickups will remain as the stock single coil on new Sierra's for a while.

Keep 'em coming!

I wonder how the Telonics 178 single coil would do in place of the Wallace.

I must've been asleep when Telonics started making single coils. Thanks for the tip Ron!

Thanks for the reply to my WTB post Mike. i'm looking for standard wide mount pickups though. I've had a number of call over the last couple of years looking for what you have though. Post an ad for it and I bet it'll sell pretty quickly.

Thanks again and stay safe!!

I have a new one for you...

Hi Ross,
With all the nice things you've done for me and others how can I keep it in my stash?
I bought a new 10 string True Tone (No Tap) from him a little while before he passed away. RIP.

Don't remember the exact price and think it's 17K???
It's at my house in Saigon, but we are stuck here in Oregon until VN government re-opens the country.

It is still new and unused. I can have my manager there mail it to you if you'd like.
Was going to put it on my Mullen G2, but after I got my Webb amp I realized that the Mullen PU was not the problem. It was the Peavey 112 Nashville that just didn't have the tone I like best.

Anything to see more of your Sierra's get out into the world! Love em!
Best wishes,
Andy :D
