**SOLD** Franklin D-10
I have decided to sell my (late) 1982 Franklin. My wife and I will be downsizing and moving into a retirement villa.
The guitar was delivered late December 1982. S/N 65 with 8/5 and according to Mr. Franklin it was the first one to have the rounded Franklin badge. Its been played but not abused. All the Sperzel tuners were replaced about 10 years ago and the same with the E9th nut rollers. The E9th changer was removed and cleaned about 2 years ago. It has Lawrence 710 pickups and I use George L's strings. It has the Franklin designed " tunable drop return compensators" on most strings that both raise and lower. The only two that do not have the compensators are E9th string 2 and C6th string 9. It has Rosewood mica covering. Comes with a two piece case set.
No shipping on this one, it will have to be picked up. I'm about an hour north of Tampa and same distance from Orlando. At the "Franklin Price" I want the prospective buyer to check it out/play it so there is no buyer remorse. This is not a must sell for $$, just downsizing and if it doesn't sell I'll take it with me.
Copedent and couple of recent pictures. I'll have more detailed pictures later.

Please do not ask about trades. It is outright sale only. As noted in the original post we will be downsizing and moving to an independent senior facility and will not have room for "lots of stuff".

Franklin
This is a beautiful steel and plays like a jewel.
If you know Jack like I do, he is very particular about his instruments and gear and cares for them like a mother hen.
Someone will get an excellent steel at a reasonable price.

Back on the market. Buyer had to back out due to loss of jobs/wages due to all the coronavirus cancellations.

I've had inquiries about the two piece case set and pictures.
The cases are about 8 (maybe 10) years old but the inside of the steel case was relined about 4 years ago. They are my own build (I've built several) and as an afterthought road case aluminum edge pieces were added as the edges seem to take a beating. The aluminum adds very little. The cases are made with 3/8" Baltic Birch (same wood one of the forum members that builds cases uses). The guitar sits on a 1" high density foam with brushed velvet covering (same as inside). Laying the guitar on the foam pad is how the Franklin Guitar Co cases are made.
