I am wanting to add a third pedal to my older student model and have everything I need except a small clamp which attaches to the crossrod. It has a hole in witch the pedal rod hooks in. Many thanks

If you had a piece of Metal, a File, and a Drill, you could make that part in a few minutes.
You could make your first try out of wood to get the dimensions right.
If you don't mind waiting, maybe call GFI and order the part(s).

I would contact GFI through their web site and order a bell crank. It would be as quick to order a bell crank as to make one, And it would keep the guitar factory original if you want to sell it.
GFI has sent me parts quick on all my orders.

Thank you guys. GFI don’t have this older part and the newer one are very different. I have everything else except this one part and a friend with a mill May be able tot do as Bobby suggests!

The bell cranks on your guitar look very simular to the ones MCI used, Gene Fields did work for MCI at one time.

Based on the description of the part, I don't believe the OP is looking for a bell crank.

If you put the rest of the parts onto the steel, you can use a pair of vice grips as a knee lever (just clamp it to the cross shaft), until you get the pedal-part.
