I spoke to Lynn Stafford recently in an email and he mentioned something that is very "interesting and concerning". That is "The Repair Gents are disappearing. Lynn mentioned that it is concerning to him about the future of Steel Guitar Tech's being available in later years. People coming into the business as someone who can completely rebuild a PSG are few and far between. I live in the Calgary, Alberta area and there is "No one" in the area that works on PSG. Which means I ship it back to the Manufacturer or try and find someone like Lynn to work on my guitar.
So is there a "Steel Guitar Tech Course" out there being offered to train people on Maintenance and Repair. (maybe the Internet?)
I would like to attend such a course to improve my understanding of the mechanic's, pull's, etc.
