This is the guitar in question. What a piece of junk. I rarely comment on other people's attempts to sell lap steels through eBay, but I pity the fool who buys this one at that price.

That guitar has had to see better days.....
And, there ought to be a law to prosecute anyone that would do that to a guitar.
And.......$450.00, as a starting bid? Surely the seller must be a comedian, right?
Or, does the public in general take steel guitarists to be little more than dummies?

This ebay one looks like a mess, but I have a prewar model 59 that is kind of nice. Has a loud wide-magnet pickup and has newspapers inside from '38. The jack is on the bass string side so you need to use an angle plug.
