Lots of options on this pedal, maybe overkill for steel, what say you.
'70 D10 Black fatback Emmons PP, Hilton VP, BJS bars, Boss GE-7 for Dobro effect, Zoom MS50G, Flamma Reverb, Planet Wave cables, Quilter 202 Toneblock, Telonics 15” speaker.

I did try one, and as with all Strymon pedals I've tried, it was great. Ultimately went with the Eventide SPACE and Empress Reverb pedals.
A wealth of options these days, but if all you want is a simple basic reverb, it is a bit much.
1979 MSA U12 Pedal Steel
1982 Kline U12 Pedal steel
2019 Sierra U12 Pedal Steel
2011 Bear Creek MK Weissenborn
Milkman 40W Mini amps w/Telonics 15" speaker.
Dr. Z Surgical Steel w/TT 15" speaker.
Frenzel MB-50 head.
Spaceman, Empress, Origin, Eventide, Pigtronix.

If the 'Blue Sky' is still in production, that is basically the same great sounding unit sans the extras.

I use one and it works great. It is expensive, though, and I bet there are many modern reverbs that would work just as well, since I don't use most of the features on the big sky. To tell the truth, the reason I got the Big Sky was to make sure that THAT was not the problem in getting the sound I was after... :-)

Dekley S12 5-4 with Alumitone PU, Telonics Pro volume pedal, Peterson StroboPlus HD tuner, Peavey Nashville 112 with Strymon Big Sky reverb or Headrush Pedalboard with my own pedal steel patch, or Fender Tone Master Twin Reverb with Strymon Big Sky through the normal channel.

I had the Blue Sky but preferred the Neunaber WET.
