Don't know if this was your intent, but I really like how the C pedal rod attaches on the right side of the pedal. I'm 6' and have to watch my seat height/steel height to keep my knee from hitting that rod.

I’ve owned a couple of Jimmie’s guitars and am always impressed with the build quality. Great guy, too.

high praise!

Just drove a couple hours to Jimmie's shop yesterday, where he worked on my newly acquired Marlen and we tweaked some stuff on a Carter I'm planning to sell locally. Boy, was it worth it! He showed me his machine shop, we chatted a bit, and he charged me an extremely reasonable price for his time. Jimmie is building high-quality instruments for awesome prices and clearly puts a lot of thought into his designs. Here's Jimmie holding a finished body blank for one of his cat-can lap dobro guitars.

I’m glad too call Jimmy a friend. He’s a very generous person with his knowledge an time too help the steel guitar folks.
Perfect example look at the picture where he’s holding a new cat can design.

Nice looking steel; very unusual.
A couple D-10s,some vintage guitars & amps, & lotsa junk in the gig bag.
