Amazed! A little pristine Rick Bakelite was on eBay for a full 7 days and nights...had 643 hits and not a single bid until the end.
Two other Ricks, a sgl and dbl...appeared to be in a hot contest amongst bidders. Just surprised me, that's all. I wasn't posted as a Rick, only "lap steel guitar".... I wonder if that had any affect on potential sales? |

If you're talking about this auction, I believe people were put off by the fact that the guitar is in Australia. I wonder how much it will cost to ship it from there to the US.

Well Brad........thanx for your input. It makes sense, what you say here. I hadn't tho't of it in that manner. I considered that perhaps there simply were no more folks out there in the world that have any interest in the old Bakelites, what with their temp sensitive problems and all.
Anyone have any idea what six strings are really going for these days? Seven strings?
8 Strings and 10 stringers? Just curious. |

seller has "0" rating which would make an international purchase even more risky.
