Recommend open D lap steel recordings?

Post by Frank Nims »

Does anyone have recommendations for lap steel recordings in open D? That is, DADF#AD low to high.
Thinking primarily in terms of electric lap steel, although weissenborn or other acoustic guitar would be fine too.
Thanks!

Ed Gerhard's version of Killing The Blues, which is closer to C than D, but the intervals are the same. And it's oh so lovely:
