Emmons LG3 D10

Post by Pat Severs »

For sale is my Emmons LG3, counterforce on both necks.
This steel is in excellent to almost mint condition, 8 & 5, pedals are standard Emmons with the exception of pedal 4 which lowers 5 a whole tone on E9, raises 4 a whole on C6.
E’s on left, left vertical lowers 5&10, RKL raises 1&2, lowers 6, and RKR lowers 2 half and
whole, lowers 9 half.
The Emmons 108 pickups were custom wound for Buddy Emmons, purchased by Mike Cass and installed in this guitar. They sound amazing, clear beautiful tone.
The guitar has a perfect setup, timed beautifully and the counterforce cancels all cabinet
drop 100 percent. Case is also in excellent condition.
This guitar has been on the Opry stage hundreds of times during my time with Bill
Anderson, it never let me down. I’m moving to the South Carolina coast, so it’s
time to downsize.
Tommy White played this guitar, said it was one of the best sounding and most in
tune steel he ever played.
$4300.00 plus shipping and insurance.

Had a few questions about the pickups. They were custom wound for Buddy’s LeGrand, but he passed away before they were installed. Mike Cass bought all the spare parts and pickups from the estate, and I bought them from Mike. I know they’re authentic because I was with Mike the day he picked everything up from Buddy’s house. The guitar sounds incredible with these pickups!
Also, I can include an Emmons volume pedal with the guitar. I can text or email more pictures to interested buyers.

South Carolina coast?!?! What? I guess I won't be seeing you at Kroger anymore.

Good luck selling this great steel. Shouldn't last too long at this great price.
