No just happens to be the same. Kind of like bands all across the country named The Travelers, or The Sidekicks etc.

Bill load up and drive up to the jam, you can stay with me in Mt Angel. Bring the Misses too.

I'll be there, Larry!

Guys, dust and shine your steels, I'll be taking nice pix of steels, hands, etc. for some projects of mine, including for Steel Resolve's online presence.

Steel Resolve will likely have 3 board members at the jam: Larry Behm, Bryan Daste, and yours truly.

http://www.steelresolve.org

I also plan to have available for sale some great pedal steel music racks, the Accommodator, originally sold by the late Don Curtis out of Scotty's store in St. Louis. These are absolutely the best full-width music stands ever made. I bought several for my classes back in San Pedro, CA, but don't foresee ever needing them again, and wish to sell these in person, shipping makes the price untenable.

These have not been made in years, so they're somewhat of a collector's item. $85 each, cash at the jam.

First come, first serve, I'll have 6 to sell.

They're all in great shape. They each have some velcro patches used to affix CD players and small mixers, I'll leave that up to you to remove. I may have those players and mixers for sale separately, haven't thought that through yet. This setup enabled students to work with printed lesson handouts, play a CD and their steel through the mixer, and blend everything into earbuds. It was quite a deluxe course!

Oh man - I missed the last couple, and it looks like I can make this one!

When I describe it to people, they always look at me like I’m crazy, but to be in room full of people whose eyes don’t glaze over when you mention what your LKV does on your Bb6 S12 - it’s a special thing!

Plus - we’ll get to see and hear Pete Burak’s new Excel!

My good friends, a shuffle is a shuffle, I know we can play them in every key.

12 bar pick one
A way to. Pick one

SGR is always E
Highway is also E
Someday soon G
Deep water D or E
I love You what about A

And so on...

Maybe I do not worry about this as I play out a lot, for those who don’t look at it as a challenge to stretch a little or a lot. We always have fun even when some are in the wrong key or out of key or out to lunch. Bing the joy.

Going to venture my first trip there in MANY years.
I believe the last time I came, Ray Robinson, Butch Cornwell and I came down together.
We had a GREAT time. How could you not with these two?

Anyhow, bring your Wallets.
I’ll have both a Session 400 and 500,
a couple Goodrich VP’s and a couple Sho~Bud pedals as well.
Maybe a Rack or two,
And an 81 LDG, that Ricky Davis recently went though, resetting it up and replacing
those parts that are suspect of breaking.

Here’s a little sound-bite

Looking forward to seeing Christopher Woitach and John McClung too.

Safe travels everyone.

I'm excited to be there this Sunday. It'll be my first one as I'm just a beginner (and probably will be for a long time!), but I will be bringing my Emmons GS-10 that's fresh off Lynn Stafford's bench. This thing has been amazing and am proud to show off the fine work he put into building this for me!

Tomorrow is the big day. Bob Tabscott will have his new Quilter Tone Block 202 and Travis Toy 12” speaker combo amp here. That should be enough to get one out of the easy chair and beat feet to the jam.

Hi guys

I wish I could come, but I have to practice for the Gram Jam IV coming up next Saturday, Nov.9th, at 24 Fremont. It should be a great show this year. Paul Brainard will be playing some songs with us.

Have fun today!
Mitch
