That's 1960s. By 1970 the single neck serial numbers were into the 1100's. I've never seen the "SS" at the end. It's usually a singe "S" after the four numbers.

I'm certainly no authority. But that appears to be a cut-tail, so based on the serial number, I'd guess 1969-1970.
