My serial number is 253L and I would like to find out what year it was made. Thanks in advance! _________________ If you succeed in cheating someone, don't think that the person is a fool. It's just that the person trusted you far more than you deserved. |

I also have SKH 253 L. Surprising, but not unheard of. And mine has a company stamp. I assume yours's does as well? Mines,Derby black with black pedals. And the original Legrande decal unlike David's. One other possible explanation. At least two self proclaimed Emmons guru's. Both now deceased. Have been known to replace end plates. Even swap endplates, and or stamp close to what they felt it should be. But again, surprised but not shocked to learn of 2 factory stamped end plates with the same serial # if that is indeed the case.
