If this had cropped up twelve months ago I'd have jumped at it but I sold my JCH SD-10.
That's life, I guess.

Serial number/ Roger’s guitar
1036 would be a very early guitar....all of Jimmy’s guitars were great guitars. I believe Lynn Stafford has Roger’s single neck.

Re: Serial number/ Roger’s guitar
Gary, I recently sold that guitar to Jesse Cunningham, a local player. It's a great guitar (as they all are) and he's thrilled with it!Gary Thorsen wrote:1036 would be a very early guitar....all of Jimmy’s guitars were great guitars. I believe Lynn Stafford has Roger’s single neck.
Best regards,
Lynn Stafford

If this had been any other colour I could well have been tempted! I'm afraid I can't like 'wood grain' mica, try as I might.
Give it time, Gary - these are among the best pedal steels ever made by anybody.

hey John! I ended up with a JCH too... no serial number!
Gary I would keep this post up for awhile. JCH's are few and far between but they do pop up every so often and there might be someone willing to make a trade who simply hasn't seen your post yet. it's a beautiful steel if you ask me and I know how they play and sound. good luck!
