I am currently rebuilding an older Waco type MCI (non-welded frame) and during the process I discovered that the thread of the leg plugs was NOT the standard 1/2" size on most modern pedal steels.
So after much testing and research I discovered that the actual thread size on this particular guitar (and I am sure other earlier MCI's), was in fact 7/16 x 14.
I would just like to send out Kudos to Alan Ray of Suncoast/Easycom Inc in Nashville for coming to the rescue with a new set of legs with the correct sized thread plugs in them - they fit like a glove!.

Alan went the extra mile in doing this for me so if anyone out there finds they have a leg size other than standard (on their guitars hehe), then Alan is your man.... and his lightweight airline legs are the best available too ... thanks Alan for your efforts on my behalf !! Very Happy
