I feel like I got a glimpse into what seeing King Benny would have been like. So cool seeing the right hand technique in those raking, rapid fire triplets in the second chorus. Fascinating! I know that tune so well and you took it on in a way I'd bet few would approach. Well done!

Can you provide the model Tri-cone you are using for the clip? Best sound I have heard from one. I assume you are not using a pick up?

I haven't seen anyone use plastic finger picks for a long time, I started out with them.

I normally use plastic picks on my acoustic steels -- Nat'l Style 1, Dobro 60-D, and Maui Maid (Weissenborn) Style 1. You can really dig in with 'em and get more volume out of an acoustic instrument than with metal fingerpicks.

I started out with metal (Dunlop) fingerpicks on pedal steel, and switched to plastic ones on my acoustics at the suggestion of Bob Brozman, after attending one of his seminars in Minnesota in the late '80s.
