I tried tuning my borrowed friends Encore last nite and my Hybrid tuner did not quite fit onto the tuner nuts of the Encore. Does somebody know which size is correct?

That’s what Mike Yahl said too so I’ll bring a 5mm nut driver to the gig tonight.

Thanx Dave. That's something you'd never hear my ex-wife say.

The fractional size is 3/16" for the tuner nut. 5mm is a close fit too. Some stores have deep well sockets in there bargain bins that work great.
Being of a softer metal, It can be drilled. Here is one I made for cranky tuner nuts.

Thanks for the responses guys. This was for a borrowed guitar that probably had the right tuner at his house while he was away. I grabbed a 5 mm. socket with a screw driver handle and it worked fine.
