does anyone know what make of steel that single n/p is Tom plays.  |

Carson Wells built that steel for Tom. So it's a CW 10-string non-pedal steel and it has a few levers that pull/lock certain strings in different positions to change the fixed tuning.
That steel is made out of "Texas Mesquite" wood.

Mesquite wood huh,thats interesting, I never wood have guessed.
I would have guessed the dark wood was Honduras mahogany, but I have never seen it up close. By the way Ricky,thanks for the lead on the Pro 1 from the guy in Austin ,it's a dandy,mint just like you said.  |

Yeah Mike that sounds right pal....thanks...I haven't seen the second one...course it has been a year since I've seen and talked to "THE MAN".....Hope to see him If I can make it to that dang Dallas show....I hate missing gigs cause I don't eat if I do....but that's what's gunna have to happen if I wanna go this time.
You coming out Mike???? if you do...bring that steel you just won on Ebay pal....I gotta see that thing in person....."you lucky dog".

Well, this means that there will be no one to hand out towels in the men's room if Jody doesn't show. There'll be a lot of guys with wet hands walking around the Harvey Hotel.
