Infinity D10 8 & 9 SOLD

Post by Tommy Dodd »

It is with great hesitation I offer my 2016 Infinity for sale. This is a very rare instrument and fully loaded to satisfy any level of player. The guitar was built by premier craftsman Frank Carter. The setup is basically an "enhanced" Emmons with the E's on the left knee with some other additional changes to accommodate more of today's licks and chords. The guitar has Telonics pick-ups that sound fantastic and it plays "smoother than soft butter". (Frank has agreed to changing the copedents if the buyer should desire.)

The front of this guitar is my own creation. It is a very durable sign vinyl. It can be removed easily if so desired.

Here's a picture of the guitar without the custom front.

Another feature are the vertical knee lever adjusters that can be accessed while sitting behind the guitar.

This is truly an exceptional guitar. It is one of only 19 D10 guitars Frank has ever built. And, he says there will be no more. If you are a serious potential buyer, looking for a steel guitar of this caliber, please contact me directly through pm (private mail on Forum) or my personal email tommyd@tommydodd.com.

WOW! All I can say is this is one of the best steels I have had the pleasure of owning, and I have owned Franklin, G2 Mullen, ShowPro, Emmons SKH, Zum, etc. Of course Push Pulls are different animals.

I feel blessed to have a D-10 and would not trade it for anything. A very lucky buyer will cherish this masterpiece.

What Mike said. I’ll never sell mine. I haven’t found anything better.

Best of luck.

Congrats to the new owner, enjoy it.
Congrats to Tommy on the sale.

I bought one used, and Frank was above and beyond great to deal with when setting mine up for me. He’s a great guy, killer player, and master builder.
