WELLLLL.... Wally looks like you and I have to tip our hats to Jack Klein and Willie Sims as being the oldest pickers and grinners so far on SGF. Shucks I thought we were the TOP DOGS'. If I figure right They posted in 2017 soooo.... they should both be about 93. I hope they both are pickin and grinnin today...Lee

I'm turning 64 in July. Been playing bass since I was 15, but started steel about 40. When I told a musician friend I started playing steel, he asked me my age and said "you'll never make it". He may have been right. Hey, wait, did I tell you that already?
