Geeking about weissenborn wood

Post by Rance White »

I've always had customers that wonder where the wood came from for their instrument. So I just decided to make a video of how I get it. Being able to send send a link would save a lot of time typing.

There's no music just a video about wood.

Volume Alert when I start cutting. @ 7minutes. Need to lower that more.

Great video. Lovely wood. When you brace the guitar, how do you avoid the traditional Weissenborn bridge bulge?
Don't go in the water after lunch. You'll get a cramp and drown. - Mother.

Thanks for that, Rance. Nothing quite like a beautiful piece of hardwood . I could almost smell the mahogany going through the saw. :)
